Education:  Master of Business Administration (MBA), David Eccles School of Business, University of Utah, 1992 (Finance concentration); Bachelor of Science, Business Management – Finance, Marriott School of Management, Brigham Young University, 1990; Bachelor of Science (second major), Asian Studies, David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies, Brigham Young University, 1990.  Currently enrolled in Ph.D in Instructional Design program, Idaho State University.

Teaching Experience:  Brigham Young University – Idaho, Fall 2001 – Present

Industry Experience:  11 years experience in high-technology industry in the following positions:  Venture Capital—Investment Principal (Novell Ventures); Director of Business Development, Partner Account Manager, Sr. Manager Strategic Planning, Sr. Manager Corporate and Strategic Research, Market Research Analyst, Various Technical positions. 

Entrepreneurship:  Former co-owner of a successful FedEx Ground independent contractor business, currently a minority shareholder and board member of www.policytech.com; advise own children on their own businesses (sports action photography and barbeque catering), and have owned several small businesses in the past that were spectacular failures.

Mission:  Korea Seoul, Sep 1985-Aug 1987 (including 10 months as Deaf missionary)

Other:  Wife Cindy, 5 children (4 sons 1 daughter); fly-fishing addict (ties his own); children all play violin, piano, soccer, baseball.  Soccer coach.
