Librarian duties
I teach LR 111. Library Research 111 is a great 1 credit block class for anyone who wants to learn more about how to use the resources of the McKay Library and the general principles of information literacy.
I will tailor a library orientation to fit the needs of a particular class or assignment. Please contact me to schedule a time for your class to learn about the library. I will also prepare study guides for your students to help them navigate library resources available to them.
As a Faculty Services LIbrarian I assist Faculty who are creating their own textbooks or course materials for their classes. I will help identify licensed resources that you may use to direct your students as they prepare, ponder, and prove.
I collect books for the McKay library in the following areas:
Art, Theatre & Dance, Communication, and Information Systems
I invite you to make recommendations on titles you would like to see in the collection to support the curriculum.
I am a member of the Intellectual Property Council along with Phil Packer, Kent Barrus, and Nate Wise; if you have questions regarding copyright please feel free to contact me.
