Course Description:
This is an introductory course in Wireless Networking. This course encompasses the design, planning, implementation, operation and troubleshooting of wireless communication. The material covers a comprehensive overview of technologies, security, and design best practices.
Course Objectives:
- Understand the similarities and differences between wireless networks.
- Implementation and configuration of 802.11 wireless devices.
- Understand the importance of wireless security policies and procedures.
- Become familiar with different software and hardware used for designing and trouble-shooting wireless networks.
