Russian Faculty

Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures

Before joining the faculty here at BYU-Idaho in the fall of 2005, I taught Russian at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, for three years. I completed a Ph. D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002 with a specialization in Slavic Linguistics.

My interest in Slavic languages began in junior high, and was reinforced by missionary service in the Sofia Bulgaria Mission. As a Slavic linguist, I enjoy studying and teaching everything Slavic and love teaching Russian here at BYU-Idaho.
