Course Description:

 

Full-time employment as an electrical engineering intern or a computer engineering intern for one semester or more.

 


Course Objectives:

 

During this course students will:

 

1.         Observe the behavior and work-habits of experienced engineers.

2.         Write progress reports, detailing accomplishments and experiences.

3.         Recognize the need for and engage in lifelong learning.

4.         Get real-world experience in a related technical job, applying some of the principles

             learned in class.

5.         Apply correct principles to make ethical decisions.

6.         Learn contemporary issues.

 


Course Prerequisites:

 

1.         Successful completion of ECEN 250.

2.         Consent of Advisor and Engineering Internship Coordinator.
