Christopher M. Lowry, Ph.D.
Dr. Lowry joined the faculty of Ricks College in 1999. The transition to BYU-Idaho started one year later. He teaches General Psychology (Psych 111), Sensation and Perception (Psych 370), Behavioral Neurobiology (Psych384), and Introduction to Neuroscience (Bio 240). He earned his doctorate in psychology with an emphasis in behavioral neurobiology from Brigham Young University in 1997. His research interests include traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer's Disease, and autism. He served as the associate dean of the College of Religion and Social Science (now the College of Education and Human Development) from 2002 to 2004. He also served as the chair of the Psychology Department from 2004-2007. In 2007 he started the Brain Imaging and Behavior Lab. He currently teaches and directs the lab.
