FORMAL EXPLORATORY RESEARCH PROPOSAL

Research Objectives

State the Research Objectives in a logical order. 

 

Definition of the Target Population

This will serve as a guideline for screening questions. Include geography.

 

Exploratory Research Design Method

Outline the method to be used (In-depth interviews or Focus Groups). Indicate dates data will be gathered. Include target date, time and location if a focus group. Indicate target quantity of participants.  (NOTE: Choose one method or the other. Minimum two depth interviews per student or two focus groups with participation totaling 2x the number of students on your team).

 

Discussion Guide

Include your discussion guide for client and instructor review and feedback.  If you are doing In-depth interviews include a discussion guide that includes a list of appropriate research questions along with other introductory information.

 

Budget

Provide estimates for expenses for refreshments and participation incentives. 

 

Timing

Indicate when the findings will be shared with the client (11:00 10/13).
