1. God favors the righteous. First instance: 1 Ne 1:1.

3. The Lord delivers the righteous from the wicked. First instance: 1 Ne 1:14, 20.

Interrelationship of the four themes:

When Israel is obedient (4) the Lord gathers (2) them together and they build temples and progress in righteousness, be protected from their enemies (3), be blessed by the Lord and receive a fullness of his love and favor (1).

When Israel is disobedient (4), they lose their nationality and the become part of the world (2), and have little protection (3) or favor from God (1).
