Lecture Series
The Entrepreneur Lecture Series is
a repeatable course offered to any student on campus who is interested in
entrepreneurship.
The course consists of a weekly one-hour lecture by successful entrepreneurs and business persons on subjects significant to entrepreneur-type opportunities. These entrepreneurs frequently discuss the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship and give the students advice on getting started, being successful in business, and growing the business.

Entrepreneur Conference Essay
The Business Management Department is sponsoring an annual
Entrepreneur Conference on October 23. Students should attend as many
activities as possible during the day, and submit a one-page, single-spaced
essay on meaningful lessons learned from the
Due December 10.
Students learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur by
reading “The Effective Entrepreneur” by Gardner H. Russell. As part of the class, students are required
to read the entire book and write a 3-4 page single-spaced paper relating content
from both the book and the lecture series to their own lives and goals. Due December 10. Late papers 50% off.
