The Savior Described Six Functions of the Holy Ghost
Harold B. Lee
When Christ bade farewell to His disciples before His crucifixion, He told them that if He went, He would pray to the Father that He would give them another Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, that He might abide with them forever. And then He gave six things that the power of the Comforter, or Holy Ghost, would do when it came. First, He will teach you all things--and, mark you, He personalized the Holy Ghost by saying, "He"--He shall teach you all things; He will bring all things to your remembrance; He shall testify of me; He will guide you into all truth; He will show you things to come; and He will reprove the world of sin.
