We
need to be taught doctrine that leads to faith on Christ and his
atonement. Such teachings must include creation, the fall
and its results on mankind, the atonement, and the commandments of God
or his view of living righteously.

Having
been taught correct doctrine, we come to understand the will of
God. Through the testimony of the Holy Ghost we come to gain an
absolute confidence in things we cannot see and are willing to live
what we have come to understand.

Having
coming to understand the will or view of God, we adopt God's will as
our own will or view.
|
After
adopting God's will or view as our own, we enter into a covenant
to keep God's will or view the rest of our lives.
|
Through
faith and repentance we have come to have a change of heart.
Through baptism we have covenant to live the new life. As a
result we are worthy to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost or the right
to have the constant companionship of a member of the Godhead.
Thus we are Spiritually born again!!
