Oct 2 Reading Assignment with write-up
Reading: D&C 76:50-70, 92-96; 88:17-24; 131:1-4.  Write-up:  As you read through 76:50-70, notice the use of "They are they," "These are they," "they are" or just "are." Are is the present tense of the 'to be' verb. So verese 50 -70 describe what celestial beings have eterally become. As you read through these verses list the various things they have become.  Try to describe what kind of person or community of people have celestial beings become. What do  76:92-96; 88:17-24 and 131:1-4 add to our understanding of celestial beings?

We will continue discussion from last class about the celestial kingdom--

Write-up:  You will complete a write-up that does two things--[1] What is Faith?  Discuss from all that you read what faith is--explore the readings and look at the concept of faith deeper than perhaps you have (coming to realize that Faith is a concrete things that exists, not merily an abstract principle). [2] How can faith--as discussed in the readings--be applied to your marriage?  Essentially you are trying to understand in what way faith can help in your marriage/parenthood and how to increase the faith you have to get the power of God to achieve the purposes of marriage/parenthood.
