Clair B. Eckersell

 Dr. Eckersell  is a neuroendocrinologist. He joined the faculty at BYU-Idaho in 1998.  He teaches classes in Anatomy,and Physiology, Histology, and Neuroscience.  He earned his doctorate in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the Department of Neurobiology at the UCLA School of Medicine and have a masters from BYU in Zoology.  His research interests are focused on the effects of steroids on neuronal circuitry and how changes in those circuits affect reproduction and behavior.  He is one of the internship directors for the Biology department and is a faculty advisor to the Neuroscience Academic Society.
