Education:  
Currently a PhD candidate with University of Idaho, Idaho Falls campus. Research focus includes the temporal variation of nitrate contamination within the Ashton, Idaho region and the integration of undergraduate research opportunities within a ground water study.

Masters Degree: 1999 University of Idaho, Hydrology, Thesis topic: Tools available to investigate surface water-ground water interactions within basins tributary to the Snake River

Bachelors Degree: 1979, University of Utah, Geology

Graduate Studies in Geology at BYU, Provo 1979-1982                             

Research - Interests:

  • Groundwater/surface water issues related to the eastern Snake River Plain aquifer and associated tributary basins. Including watershed studies, water quality and water quantity issues.

  • Groundwater contamination problems in the area of the Henrys Fork of the Snake River.

  • Groundwater/surface water availability in the Chaco region of Paraguay.

  • GIS/GPS applications in geology. Coordinating installation and operation of a Continuously Operating Reference station (CORs) on the Romney building at the BYU-Idaho campus . Joint project with the Idaho Department of Transportation.
