Hort 324 Flower Identification
Purpose: Learn the identification and landscape value of herbaceous annual and perennial flowers, including bulbs, ground covers, ornamental grasses, ferns and water plants.
Objectives: At the end of this course you should be able to correctly identify up to 200 of the most popular flowers. You will be able to think about flowers as a horticulturist-- that is, visualize how they fit into a landscape setting. In order to do this you will learn uses and characteristics such as hardiness, height, flower color, flowering period and shade tolerance.
