Hort 319 Landscape Management

 

Purpose:  Learn how to think like a landscape manager. Learn landscape management principles and practices. Experience hands on maintenance of established landscapes with emphasis on turfgrass, trees, shrubs, and flowers.

 

Objectives:  When you complete this course you will be able to successfully determine the maintenance requirements of landscapes and be able to provide quality care practices such as mowing, trimming, pruning, irrigation, fertilization, renovation, and pest control. You will be able to relate landscape management principles to your other classes enabling you to continue to expand your knowledge and skills.
