Hort 297 Practicum
Purpose: The class is designed to help students learn practical plant growing, display and sales skills by participating in an Enterprise Project.
Objectives: Students apply for a particular indoor plant crop. They are assigned bench space in the greenhouse. Students order stock, propagate, irrigate, fertilize, and otherwise care for the crop. Students prepare plants for sale, arrange and display their plants, and help sell them during weekly plant sales.
