My Interests

 

I am not a very interesting person, but I have several interests. Here are some of them.

 

I love to water ski. Several times each week during the summer we are at one of the local lakes with family and friends boating, waterskiing, and wakeboarding. We especially enjoy family vacations at Lake Powell or Flathead Lake.
	I enjoy wakeboarding but I don't do any of those crazy inverted jumps.
The winters in Idaho are so long you have to do something outside. I enjoy skiing with my family. Night skiing at Kelly Canyon keeps us in shape for our bigger outings at Big Sky or Grand Targhee.
	In wintertime, if I'm not skiing I am probably riding my Polaris. I am no expert, but I do enjoy riding with my brothers and sons.
I enjoy all sports, but especially basketball. I play noonhoop with other employees at BYU-Idaho.
	I grew up on a horse ranch, and I used to rodeo and race horses. I still enjoy riding, especially in the mountains with my dad, who is an expert packer.
I exercise racehorses at the track occasionally. I was a jockey when I was younger and lighter.

I like to help my dad with his team of Belgians.
	I like technology and especially computers. I started programming computers using FORTRAN and card punch machines. We have made great progress since then.
