Email List Service

This free service alows you to subscribe to an email list of Virtual Fingers Users. After you subscribe to the list you can ask questions to the group by sending email to VirtualFingers@list.byui.edu. Your email is then broadcast to everyone on the list. Responces to your question can be directed back to the list and for every to benefit from your question and the response. Announcements on changes to the program are also sent to the users on the list. Note that all incomming email is filtered for appropriateness before being boadcasted to the group.

To Subscribe to the email list service:

  1. Open a new mail message.
  2. In the To: line type virtualfingers-subscribe@list.byui.edu
  3. It is not necessary to type a subject or message.
  4. Click Send
A confirmation request will be sent to you, to make sure that you really sent the request. Simply reply to the message, and your request will be processed.

To Send email to the group:

  1. Open a new mail message.
  2. In the To: line type virtualfingers@list.byui.edu
  3. Type the subject of the message.
  4. Type the message in the body.
  5. Click Send

To unsubscribe to the email list service:

  1. Open a new mail message.
  2. In the To: line type virtualfingers-unsubscribe@list.byui.edu
  3. It is not necessary to type a subject or message.
  4. Click Send
