"Nothing on earth is so well suited to make the sad merry, the merry sad, to give courage to the despairing, to make the proud humble, to lessen envy and hate, as music."

Sound Bites

Hi! and welcome to my website. You will find the menu to the left useful in two ways: 1) ideas and items to help improve as a saxophonist or jazz player, and 2) to help decide which university to attend after high school. The Jazz Studies and Saxophone Studio options are loaded with information about the school and things to practice. Creative Activity helps you to know who i am and what I've been doing. There is free music for classical saxophone written for sacred services that you can download from the Compositions page. Please call me (208.496.1261) or send me a note (watkinsm@byui.edu) if i might be of assistance to you.
